Hi, I have the problem that I have a really bad PC and still want to gamble (mainly Fortnite) and my PC doesn't crash after at least one round. Now I want to know which component it is to replace it and here is the problem: My graphics card is an Nvidia gtx 650 ti and my processor is an Intel Core i5 4670 and 8gb ddr 3 Ram. Normally you should think "clearly it is the GraKa" because the processor is not that bad. And now it's going crazy. Because in fact it happened that when I set my graphics settings to a minimum I wasn't at all bothered for a few months, and I also always thought that it couldn't be due to the processor, because the Fps was actually always good and wanted more and always the default Maximum (60fps) was and I could have done even more with it because the processor was even more often at 144 fps if I didn't set it a fps maximum but I took 60 because the pc crash always crashes otherwise. But it is shown that my processor is at the limit all the time and my graphics card (which with 1gb does not even comply with Fortnite's regulations with 2gb each) says that it is only 70 percent full and my processor 74 percent. And that is also reflected in the values because the processor has a maximum of 3400 Mhz and my PC crashes whenever it reaches this maximum (which is very often there). But that doesn't make any sense at all? Can someone tell me what's wrong with the pc now? Thank you for reading this Bible!
There you can see again the devaluations where my PC was just surprised!
Your processor overheats because of this your pc crashes.
At first glance, the CPU temperature seems very high to me. According to Intel, it shouldn't get that hot at all.
What cooler do you have?
Honest? What can you do there? Buy a new processor
The cooler included in the box.
Gets too hot and then crashes. Anything else would be illogical and would not necessarily cause a crash.
Yes, that's probably the problem.
Buy new processor cooler. Clean the heatspreader from the processor beforehand. For 40 euro there's something really fat, with which your cpu only gets warm.
Can you give me a cheap alternative there?
Do you know what your housing is called, or how much space you have between the processor and the housing wall?
Okay, does that mean I should get a new cooler? If so, which one (cheap not want to invest much more in it)
Thank you very much!
The cooler is not gone, you can use it again and again.
The CPU temperature seems to be very high.
This brings your PC to instability.
Please make sure there's enough space for the processor fan.
Another reason can of course be that you have not given the processor enough thermal paste.
If you still have questions or if it didn't work out, report it under my comment.
Oh yes, I would not use the PC as long as you solved the problem. This prevents possible damage.
If your case is wide enough, i recommend the processor: https://hardwarerat.de/...224-spc144
