I have the problem that my HDD hard drive is very slow during games. This is most noticeable in Fortnite, but it is also very easily noticed in games like R6 or Apex legends. In Fortnite it is very bad, everything loads soo long, most of all the map and the most important thing, 2 MONTHS ago it was NOT THAT. I had taken a break from gaming for 1-2 months and then it was not so with the store.
I know everyone will say put that in the SSD, but my SSD has only 118GB and with windows I somehow only have 80GB free and Fortnite alone takes 80GB.
Could it help if I format my HDD?
Or can I update my HDD somehow?

I don't think it's because of the media. What processor and how much RAM do you have?
Fortnite is just too fat with unnecessary elements, that's why I haven't played since season 6.

Try other games, maybe Fortnite needs a patch.
What are you playing in FN? Creative mode or Battle Royale? Or are you someone original and play RDW?
Yes, I have always had all background programs and as I said in other games it is also less so not as blatant as in Fortnite

Then load e.g. The display of the items in the inventory for a very long time and with all these problems my FPS drops to 50fps from 120. And 1 Mbs alone is very little. I'm very sure it is because of your internet. Try to play with a LAN cable, do not use the WLAN for gaming.
