I have a 256gb ssd and 1tb hdd installed in my PC (Rtx 2060, Ryzen 5 2600). I have a game on the ssd (fortnite) where i have random framedrops. On my hdd run more demanding games (battlefield v) without problems or fps drops. I have also checked the temperatures of the ssd and hdd with HWID (between 30 ~ 40). The drops also appear at lowest settings (from 300 to 60fps)
The hdd and ssd are only two weeks old, so can i get fps drops thanks to the ssd?
If the drops occur, is the disk utilization then at 100%? If not then it is not the SSD
Will look at it thank you
You can't just compare two different games… Then install Fortnite on the HDD and see if it's better.
Such drops rarely have anything to do with a hard drive. Rather a current / voltage drop?
