Fortnite takes a long time to load textures?

I have the problem with fortnite that the textures of buildings do not load in the first few laps and the images of the weapons in the inventory do not either.

My pc

I5-4460 16gb ddr3 with 1600mhz in 100: 100 mode and a gtx 1060 strix oc

I don't have that kind of problem in other games.

I've already closed everything in the background, etc. But it didn't help

I play in medium to high settings

di

Maybe reinstall the game

Uz

I already have

If you haven't written to support yet, try there, otherwise I can't help you

I had the same problem and was able to fix it by buying a better CPU. It may also be the reason why the houses are not rendering for you. Remember Fortnite is very CPU-heavy.

Uz

I've already checked but the CPU and GPU are both being used to capacity but I think it's slowly being ram

Ge

It's funny that you deleted my answer well

Serious tip: look up your ram and then on the E * website what you need for Fortnite.

But I think it's more up to Fortnite, because games like GTA are possible.

It's best to write to E * support

I guess since my RAM only runs at 1600mhz it doesn't work that well or my hard drive is too slow or the SATA controller

Wh

Yes you still use ddr3 RAM and it is much slower than ddr4 (mine has 3600mhz)

The best thing to do is buy a new CPU (a ryzen or something) then you will need new RAM anyway and then it should work again

Ky

As SkySurver had described, this can also be due to the RAM, but a new CPU never does any harm. If you need a recommendation I have a Ryzen 5 2600 from AMD combined with an old GTX 970 and can play Fortnite in the highest settings at 60-120FPS.

Wh

It can't be because of the ram because it is because of the ram xD
I code my own GameEngine and therefore know that textures are stored on the RAM so that they can be used directly. If you were to always load it from the hard drive, it would be fatal. Since it only has 1600Mhz, it is quite slow. He should therefore buy a new CPU because you will need a new mainboard + RAM for it anyway

Wh

I can give you Minecraft as the best example. If you play a modpack in Minecraft which sometimes contains 300,000 textures, you have a ram consumption of> 6gb

Fortnite no textures? my mylesbrain
