HI, my PC is running super fast and the Youtube videos are running smoothly and not stop or jerk. But when I started Fortnite it looks quite different, my mouse jerks when I move it, Youtube videos do not run smoothly, etc.
I have a GTX 1060 3GB and an Intel Core i7
If you want more questions about the PC write it in the answers.
I would be excited to receive answers.
What is often underestimated is the Ram, I do not know how much you have, but if you have 8GB of RAM, it will most likely be because you do not have enough RAM, just if you hope Fortnite has the Task Manager open (on the taskbar with the pointer, right-click and task manager. (If necessary, you still need to click on details to get more information than just the programs) if there's more than 90% RAM and / or red it will probably be because it is not Case it will be due to something else.
I think that the questioner rather has the problem with his intel CPU. And he just does not know if you google for Meltown., Specter, TLS, Intel ME, etc. What problems Intel processors have. The question is often asked again and again and it is usually the same problem.
Thanks for the text but currently have 42 percent RAM usage and 16 GB
Since your video cards and other requirements that are important to the environment are reasonably in order, I assume the game has been installed incorrectly. Not from you! From the launcher, I guess.
Try downloading the latest version of the launcher and reinstalling the game.
Another thing: On which server / servers do you play? That could be because of that.
Okay thank you I'll try that.
Check it out in the settings in the game. It can also be the server choice on which you play.
Write me if you need more help.
Youtube videos can be any 20 year old PC, also any smartphone. So it's the most boring task.
Important is only the internet connection.
I have fiber in Denmark… My TV is currently streaming a movie over Wi-Fi. Music by Youtube inc. Video and then here on my 13 year old laptop… All at the same time and no problem.
On the PC is not your problem. Three times as fast as my good old Notbook. Fornite, of course, I do not do that.
For such a thing I have an I7 on a server board and appropriate diagram.
Do you have enough free space on C:?
Such mistakes, jerks, can come from something like that.
Or some routine is running in the background, which fully loads the CPU. Also a too slow internet connection can be cause.
Not that you with Fornite at the same time a virus starts, which steals you with the "after telephone calls" the whole Internetbandbreite.
That's all that comes to my mind right now. At the hardware it is certainly not… Can exchange like:-).
Hi, I still have 300 GB of memory on C: and an HDD
Oh well that could be the same with the virus, but how do I remove this? I have ever run Avast, Avira and Malwarebytes but they did not find anything.
Lena,
that is more than enough.
It looks like that really Fornite crosses there.
Reinstall and test way before maybe install another shooter to see if it runs properly.
Lena,
I use Avira in an aboversion.
If they all find nothing, then there's nothing.
As written… Test other shooters to rule out that there's a driver problem.
Okay, I'll do it
Of course it could be, but I would not have thought that because I never had such problem courage on my Ryzen 5 1600 (@ 4Ghz all Core), but sounds plausible
You poor! O_O
On which server do you play?
Go to Settings in the lobby.
Europe
Hmm okay. Funny.
