Is it worth using a PC instead of a switch for Fortnite?

I have a Nintendo Switch Lite on which I've been playing Fortnite for about a year. But I'm still a pretty bad player (no matter what I do, I just won't get better😮💨) and am considering buying a PC because I hear and read everywhere that you can get much better on the PC. But such PCs with a mouse, keyboard and so on cost a bit. That's why I ask myself: Is it really worth it? If not, do you have any tips for a Switch player like me to get better?

Co

Worth it. It is not for nothing that PC gamers are superior to other console gamers in most cases. This is largely due to the fact that the mouse and keyboard are much easier to aim.

Yes that's true again

I would almost always recommend a PC instead of a console, especially because of the significantly better price / performance ratio and future security. You don't even have to go without a controller if you don't want to.

I think it's worth it, the PC doesn't have to be that expensive. PC 600 euro, screen 150 euro, mouse and keyboard ~ 100 euro and headset you probably already have. You can build the PC yourself, it's not an art I made. This will save you a lot of money again. Conclusion: it pays off.

The guy doesn't look like he's familiar with PCs and the bells and whistles

So basically I agree, but you can forget about the better price / performance ratio for PCs right away. This is one of the few arguments that consoles CLEARLY put over PCs.

Thanks, I think that's a good idea.

https://pcmasterrace.org/builds there are builds in four price ranges, the cheapest (~ 455 EUR) is already on par with the PS4 pro and Xbox One X in terms of performance.

In terms of difficulty, building a PC is roughly on par with a Lego set. It gets a little more demanding if you value orderly cable management.
