I bought about a week ago about a new PC. I've always been able to play Fortnite on the best graphics smoothly. When I turned on the PC today I'm in Fortnite as always and wanted to play. Then I noticed that the whole game jerky. I was in the menu Although 120 FPS displayed but trz has it very much geruckelt when I z.b. Dance. Even though I'm in the round felt like 30 FPS.

Graphics Card: MSI Radeon RX Vega56 Air Boost 8GB OC

CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 2600

Motherboard: MSI B450M Pro-VDH

Power supply: 500W Bequiet Pure Power 11

Will probably have been network lag. Since the PC can still be so strong.

Em

Yes, but with my friend everything is fluid

ly

Then your friend has a better internet connection.

Em

I have a 5 ping

Em

Achso and before came an error message where then fortnite was closed and had for a few seconds black screen

ly

First you only have one ping. The time in ms returned at ping is called latency.
5 ms latency to the first gateway would be z.b. Already abnormal.

ly

In this case, this indicates a problem with hard disk or even RAM. If SSD give up the ghost, then it comes z.b. To massive stuttering in games and also under the OS.

Em

And what can you do about it?

ly

It would be best to check first if the components are okay. You could read out the SMART status of your disks (eg with crystal disk info), you could check the filesystem with chkdsk.

It would be ideal if you had the exact error message to have a concrete starting point.

Oc

The components should not jerk.

I would also say that it was on the Internet

Do it times if it jerky again a speed test looks at the same time as stable his Internet is my suggestion

Em

Yes, but if I put the graphics down it is no longer. And I have 18ms, 34mbit download and 9.6 upload

Em

So I'm just in The Forest and everything on the best graphics. Completely liquid

ly

Is there a way to validate the installation of Fortnite? In the launcher or something?

Em

What do you mean by that?

ly

The game installation may be damaged. I do not play Fortnite, but most current games offer the ability to check and repair data installed on the disk if something is missing or not in the correct state.

Em

Yes, I've already done unfortunately in vain. I uninstalled it and just download it again

Oc

Since I can't help you but if you have no wqhd screen but only fill HD you need anyway in any game full settings.

Oc

Otherwise, once graphics card drivers update

Em

Has not brought anything. On my graphics card are so red glow. The show the graphics card works. I just got another problem when I play swtor (ka if that's synonymous with other games) then every few seconds I stand still for a few seconds. Also, the LED's of the graphics card go over the time on 1 led down and when it goes again all on
