Try to reinstall with the driver or try another monitor.
If you use another one and that doesn't happen then something is wrong with the monitor but I think the same thing will happen so reinstall your driver

Are you sure it has nothing to do with hardware? Some graphics cards can't withstand two monitors.
If you click on the second one it has to be updated and the graphics card can't stand it
