I bought a finished gaming pc a while ago which was a bad decision and now I want to upgrade it to be able to play Fortnite on medium settings fluently 60fps.

These are the installed parts in the PC:

Power supply: 400 watt silent power supply

Motherboard: MSI H110M ECO, Intel H110

Processor: Intel Core i5 7400 4x 3.0GHz

Cooler: Original Intel Cooler

Memory: 4GB DDR4 RAM PC-2133

Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX1050 2GB, Palit StormX

1. HDD / SSD: 1000GB S-ATA3, 600MB / sec.

Soundcard: 7.1 Soundboard onboard (8-channel)

Windows 10 operating system

some tell me I should upgrade to at least 8gb ram or get me a new video card what should I do now?

and besides, while the iS is a ssd is installed in the pc but feels 0 afterwards because it is slower than a friend who also has a ssd

Real unfavorable system 2133 Ram memory are just bad, no SSD installed in it. Graphics card really very bad.

The problem with this PC is you can't start anywhere if you want to build for the future because with 2133 Ramsspeicher not far from your board can't do anything in the future.

But how do you get more FPS →

Buy a cheap Ramsspeicher maybe synonymous needed which are currently very cheap, maybe people will find the cheaper used sell with 20-35 euro, this will not boost your FPS but you will have no more FPS spikes (game stops)

Next, I would take care of a new video card, depending on the budget.

As for Fortnite the graphics card but loose.

And I do not think that there's a 1TB SSD is installed look in the PC to see if this is really an SSD or just an HDD.

an SSD is a musthave.

in the end, all you need is more ram the rest would be enough for Fortnite.

PS: But since this is your 2x4GB they are dual and that would also mean more FPS, my mistake.

You have no SSD installed, but an HDD.

I can't totally agree with the others here! I even have a GTX 1050 lying around at home and I get it on medium settings loose 60fps, depending on at least 70 up to a constant 120fps.

I would recommend to you only once to expand the RAM with another 4GB stick! That should be enough for now.

Otherwise, I would still buy an SSD for the operating system, you get already very cheap, 240GB for under 40 euro.

Okay thanks a 240 gb ssd I already have at home and I have 60fps but unfortunately not consistently I often have many stills what is not really cool

I would advise you to at least 8 GB of RAM, 16 GB would be better. Take 2 identical bars in the set, so 2x4 GB or 2x 8GB, then you also have safe functioning dual-channel. The RAM should best be 3000 or 3200 MHz. The cost not much more than the normal with 2,133 or so, and even faster brings hardly a few% more power at too high additional costs.

The video card is actually sufficient for Fortnite, according to the Recommended Requirements. You could still swap it for a better one. Here is the offer but very large, as it depends more on how much money you can spend.

My recommendation: First, upgrade the RAM and see how it has improved.

Too little RAM in a PC can already have an extreme braking effect. If it is increased, it is sometimes possible to get twice the speed. With 4 GB of RAM alone, Windows 10 is already starving.

Kn

Yes that's just because of the memory. As I said, I played the game on the same graphics card, which is absolutely sufficient for Fortnite. But at least 8GB of RAM are required.
