Little FPS (RTX 2070) through 60hz monitor?

I know that Hz and FPS are not the same. Nevertheless, I don't have the FPS with my RTX 2070 that I expect on the highest settings in Fortnite, Valorant. Is that because I have a 60hz FHD monitor and therefore the graphics card is resting? Since my graphics card is not even used 20% in some games. V sync is off. CPU is also hardly used. Will I get more FPS at 144hz?

What is the difference between hz and fps?

FPS is the number of images that your graphics card outputs per second, and Hz says how often your monitor can update the image per second. (To put it simply)

Oh and to answer the question, that is almost certainly the processor, which one do you have?

With the graka you can just as easily say hz

Did you limit the load in the NVDIA settings or activated chill (don't know exactly whether NVDIA also had chill)
