Little FPS troz RTX 2080 and i7 8700k?

I have a rtx 2080 and a i7 8700k and in Fortnite z.b i have 100-140 fps. Have a friend with an i5 and a rtx 2070 and he has 130-180 fps and much more that wonders me?

system:

i7 8700k

MSI Geforce Rtx 2080 Gaming X Trio

600w power supply

1x16gb 1x4gb 2666mhz

Could it be on my Ram?

I would have to have much more FPS with my system?

PS: Have a 188hz monitor with G-sync and have V-sync always off.

It could be due to the inefficient dual channel, but it's hard to say.

If you have upgraded, uninstall old drivers.

I'd really like to tap on the RAM. Get off the 4 and get another 16 or hau both away and get 2x8GB at least DDR4-3000.
