I want to get a new PC for Fortnite Competitive. The PC should achieve 240 FPS. Now I'm still thinking about taking an RTX 2070 Super or an RTX 2080 Super.
I would combine the RTX 2070 Super with a Ryzen 5 3600, the RTX 2080 Super with an i7 9900k.
The variant of the RTX 2080 has a surcharge of 500 euro
Do something useful.
Honest? None at the moment. NVidia and AMD are already at the doors and would wait a bit for you. A lot will happen this year.
If you can't stand it at all, I would recommend the 2080 Super, but it also costs accordingly. I find the 2070 Super no longer profitable.
Wait and drink tea (beer). Stay healthy
So I think the Rtx 2070 super might have an average of less than 240fps, but over 200fps should actually be in there. But if you only play fortnite, the additional price of 500 euro for the few fps is not worth it.
Thanks for your answer Sonic. Unfortunately I can't wait anymore because my current PC has given up the ghost and I want to get a completely new one. But do you think that the 2080 super achieves the 240 FPS?
Yes, without problems.
On what resolution you want to play fortnite
Both graphics cards will easily reach the 240FPS. (Low settings)
So if you only need it for Fortnite, the additional charge of 500 euro is not worth it.
I recommend 2080Super for the future.
But I think the 2070 Super will be enough and even have 200FPS in the endgame.
