Do not take the Ryzen 1200, it's SUBSTANTIALLY worse, I think that was just a joke of Spardback anyway…

My pleasure! The Ryzen 2600 is a good choice as it is very future-proof over the next few years, not only for Fortnite, but for all other games as well.

A cheap B450 motherboard is just as good. That costs under 100 euro. 16 GB RAM is not really necessary, because it does 8 GB synonymous, but then with 3000 or 3200 MHz clock, which is important for the Ryzen processors.
Or consider a Ryzen 5 1600X with B350 motherboard.
