75hz to 144hz monitor?

I'm thinking about getting a 240hz monitor with 1ms response time tomorrow. I have always played on a 75hz monitor with 5ms reaction time and wanted to ask if the difference is big. I mainly play Counter Strike and Fortnite games, where the reaction time from the monitor is already very important, but I do not know how much the difference is and whether it's worth it. Would be glad if someone could share his experiences with me.

Pure marketing groaning, in reality noticed next to no difference.

144hz is worth it, unless you have permanently over 144fps. Otherwise it is unnecessary and would stay at 75hz.

But 144hz on 240hz is not that the crassest.

Unless you have over 250fps in every game and that immoment does not pack a haha GPU

And well with a very good gaming monitor are 1-2ms standard with 5ms are mostly from LG or so but they are also good.

It just depends on your hardware and your money.

Is not right changed from 60 to 144hz and then from 144 to 240hz I have a gigantic difference and also noticed advantage in playing.

If you play such E-Sport games, it makes sense to switch to 144Hz. The difference is definitely noticeable but in my opinion not as blatant as some say, people like to exaggerate there. From 144Hz to 240, the difference is much lower than from 60Hz to 144Hz.

I myself have no 240Hz monitor but my brother's possession so one thing in my opinion is nonsense because he barely gambled and certainly not such titles, but is his money.

Did the monitor but of course times tested and have hardly noticed a difference from 144Hz to 240Hz. You really only notice it when you really have 2 screens next to each other and can compare directly.

One must not forget that one needs a PC that creates such games on 240FPS. That should work for CSGO, but it will be a bit more difficult with Fortnite.

I do not know how 5ms affects 1ms, I never tested it, but I can hardly imagine if you really notice it.
