Better processor for Fortnite socket AM3?

I need a better processor so that I can play fluently fortnite.

Just got an AMD Athlon 2 X4 640 and wanted to upgrade.

Since you have already motherboard and ram me the CPU updating, how much do you want to spend the for your upgrade?

Yes, but I'm talking about meaningful updating, what you're up to is just a waste of money.

This would be the cheapest meaningful, but to tell you what 100% matching I would need the name of your motherboard or at least the form factor. Otherwise I do not know if it fits in your case

That will not matter, for the AM3 there's only scrap. You could try to buy some Phenom II X4 on eBay for ~ 15 euro. The instant buy offers are all around 30 euro, that's not worth it anymore. And if that solves your problem in Fortnite, I can't tell you 100%.

If you could now find out if your RAM is running on this board, then I would say, buy the bundle, you will not get away cheaper with the corresponding improvement. But if you are not really fit, or at least know someone who could troubleshoot with you, if something should not work, then I would not necessarily advise you.

The alternative would be ~ 220 euro for a Ryzen 3 2200G, motherboard and DDR4 RAM, so you're always on the safe side.
