144hz monitor with gtx1050 ti?

I have a GTX 1050 Ti, an Intel Core i5 7600k and 8 gb ram. I currently play on a 60 hz monitor Fortnite, Subnautica, etc. I usually have over 100 fps, but in games like Hitman 2 or Middle-earth: Shadow of War, I do not even have quite 60 fps at high settings. Worth a 144hz monitor now? (I would like to Curved 144hz 24 inches)

I would definitely do it because you may upgrade your graphics card in the future
