Just got this PC offered at short notice and have no idea if what is good. Primary Office and Internet but sometimes Boyfriend and Fortnite (children):
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i7 960 @ 3.2Ghz
Memory: 12.0 GB triple channel ddr3 @ 533mhz
System type: Win7 Prof 64bitz
NVIDIA QUADRO 2000 Direct X 1023mb
Hard disk: 500 GB ST3500418AS ATA Device
the GraKa is good for what?
Oh yes: asking price of the seller 150 euro!
GraKa I can exchange the later gg ggged a NVIDIA GTX960 or so…
The system is of course relatively old. So about 8 years, to be exact.
For office and internet, however, it is enough, occasional gambling in a maximum of 1080p is therefore also in it.
To play a GTX 960 would of course be better suited than the Quadro, with only 1 GB of VRAM.
I would not invest 150 euro anymore.
For already 250 euro you get something new and much better.
For office and internet is absolutely not enough for gambling. The Quadro cards are CAD graphics cards and are not made for gaming. At that time, the performance of the Quadro in Games was bad and today games are unplayable.
But also the RAM of 500Mhz ONLY runs! Whatever the reason is that it's slow and slower than the older DDR2 RAM.
The ram runs with effectively 1066 mhz.
Alternative:
Intel i5-3470,
8GB RAM
180GB Intel SSD Pro 2500 SSD
GTX750ti
500 watt power supply,
New USB 3.0 card reader and USB,
DVD BURNER
and Windows 10
200 euro
