I have had a PC with a 2070 Super, 16GB Ram and a ryzen 5 3600 for 3 days. At first Fortnite worked perfectly. Until today… I started my PC normally and opened the Epic Games Launcher. The launcher is suddenly incredibly strong, as if it were also running with one frame per second. Then I opened Fortnite and it's ALWAYS only 1 frame per second. In the lobby, in creative and in game. Even the log in process when opening Fortnite is just jerky. I restarted the game. No success. I restarted the PC. No success. Launcher + game completely uninstalled and reinstalled. No result found.
Device manager says GPU only makes 0.4% and CPU about 13% while I'm in game. Temperatures were good to very good the last few days. Otherwise I had no problems with my PC. The rest is going perfectly.
What's going on there? Does anyone have any idea how I can fix that?
Almost a slideshow xD! You can try to reinstall the game. This helps!
