So I can't even play Fortnite fluently and I do not know why that is.
My PC parts:
Graphics card: RX 580 Nitro 8 GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H V2, AMD B350
Power supply: 400W ARLT Efficiency ATX power supply
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 4x 3.1GHz
Hard drive: 500 GB SATA II HDD
I have a lot of games installed on my hard drive
Ram: 16GB Corsair Value Select DDR4 - 2400
I thank you now for your answers.
With which setting do you play and with which resolution?
Your compilation is more supoptimal. Starting with the bad A chip over the CPU and HDD up to the RAM.
However, the system should reach epic thickness for 1080p.
Yeah, but I always have frame drops?
And honestly, I'm starting to think that's on my hard drive, what do you think?
Your PC should pack Fortnite easily. But apart from the pure FPS, you'll probably have longer load times, or anytime you see something new on the screen, afterloaders. That's because of the 500 GB HDD… The Ram is synonymous suboptimal, but still you should hardly have problems with FPS.
Are current drivers installed? Did you overclock? How much free space is left on the hard disk?
Well, as I said, a bad compilation of components.
I think a lot of the blame should also hit the HDD.
How are your settings? And most of all, you should not play in windowed mode.
The Ryzen 3 1200 with 4x 3.1 GHz is really the weakest Ryzen ever, with only 4 threads you can't get far today. I still have an i5 4690 with 4 threads and up to 3.7 GHz boost and thus limit some games. A Ryzen 5 1600 would have been much better and only slightly more expensive.
I have always stood by my ram of 16GB Ram 8 Gb usable
What does that mean
Overclocking does not work with the A Chip motherboard.
OK thanks
What do you mean by the Ram so I do not know myself so well with the hardware from sry
As I said, I think that a big part of the blame the HDD meets.
True ^^
@SuchtiMuffin the Ram is bad, because only 2400 MHz and the Ryzen just needs better to fully exploit his power.
Are current drivers installed?
How much free space is left on the hard disk?
What should I get for your opinion then a larger HDD or SSD
Current drivers of?
And there are 215 Gb free of 464
Ok that's enough free memory. At least the drivers of the graphics card (here: https://www.amd.com/...e/support), all others should bring Windows 10 actually. But you can also load directly from the motherboard manufacturer, the current driver.
Theoretically, an HDD hard drive is sufficient for 1080p gaming. There's also the memory per euro cheaper. To recommend in 2019 but actually an SSD. Also there, the prices continue to sink
As mentioned here. An SSD is actually mandatory.
Is the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor better? And recommending

The AMD Ryzen 5 2600 is better than the AMD Ryzen 7 1700 and costs the same amount.
This is a completely different house number than the 1200s.
But the best P / L has the 2600s.
But you have to miss your motherboard a new BIOS, otherwise the 2600 does not run.
Where can I do that and how?
Before you make any work on the processor, install your system on an SSD and throw away the antediluvian hard drive.

Why throw away? I can use it as a game HDD or?
The 500GB disk I would not even use more than games HDD. Maybe to save music / videos but not anymore. Games are included on the SSD
In the BIOS 😂. It is really easy.
Here's an example:
Here's a CPU comparison where the 1700s is almost as fast as the 2600s.
But I have a gigabyte motherboard and no ASrock
It is already clear. I have a VW, you an Opel… Both drive.
This is not different with the BIOS.
Was just an example of BIOS update
Achso ok thanks!
For this, people still need a few years, that games on the SSD consistently has only advantages.
