I have now got a geforce gtx 1060 and already installed. But once I started a game, in this case it was Fortnite, the PC crashed. So I went into the Fortnite settings and put the graph on medium. Now it is going well, but I expected more, so sharp. Only if I put it on high then crashes about 5 minutes from the PC. What should I do? And, when I landed in Fortnite and I'm on a house or in a city and then I go there or I'm standing on it. And the houses look completely like strange squares and I can't do anything there. After about 30 seconds, everything is sharp and nothing more pixelated. Only it is stupid, because in Fortnite you have to quickly search for a weapon and if I have to wait there as the first 30 SECONDS to load it, I'm already dead anyway.
What does the rest of your PC look like? Need more data.
How do you mean?
Look for the drivers
So CPU, RAM, power supply etc.
What kind of power supply is installed?
You have "now" a GTX 1060 in it… Ok… But what was installed before?
If it was also a "GTX" older date, everything should be ok here.
But if you had an AMD card installed, there could be problems with possible driver raids on this card.
Uninstall all drivers with the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) tool:
https://winfuture.de/...,3390.html
And then you install the latest Geforce drivers.
https://www.nvidia.de/...px?lang=de
Maybe you should also use this tool to uninstall the existing Geforce drivers. Then the latest drivers can be reinstalled trouble-free.
If you are lucky, your problems are eliminated.
One more tip:
If you ask such questions, please also mention the CPU, the Ramausbau and the operating system. This can be relevant for problem solving.
