First of all: I don't plan to go to the World Cup and become a millionaire. After all, I don't quit my job to become a footballer just because a few manage to get rich with it.
But suppose I manage to meet the technical requirements to finally be able to play the game. Will the game still exist in the foreseeable future? I read that the end of the hype was already being discussed in 2019. Now we have 2020 and the Apple Epic War that is making matters worse.
So I think it would be awesome if a game that is only 3 years old is supposed to be "out" and therefore soon disappears from the scene. Skateboarding, for example, has existed for around 30 years and is even becoming increasingly popular. But in the tech industry (gaming, internet, technology, etc.) 3 years in human years is about 30 years, right? The hypes come and go faster than Apple launches new I-Phones.
So Fortnite will still exist anytime soon? Can I still find enough people who want to play it with me as soon as I join?
The hype doesn't determine anything. With the hype, many new people came to the game just because of the Hxpe. The people who enjoy it still keep playing it. Why should they stop too? I think the hype is long gone, but a lot of people are still playing the game. If you enjoy the game then play it calmly. Nobody's going to stop you. Fortnite will exist for a long time and you will still find many likeable people with whom you can gamble
The internet is very dynamic when it comes to hypes. Now that Fortnite is no longer being played excessively by influencers on YouTube or Twitch, it doesn't mean the game is dead. Many people stopped because the opponents simply became too good and could no longer play "casual", which is completely understandable. This is the case with almost every FPS / BattleRoyal game.
You will definitely find enough people to play as there are still a lot of active players. Just ask in a clan or forum whether you can be found as a duo or a squad.
If you enjoy it, play it but the game is dead or the hype no BR can last long and I think that's a good thing
There will always be people who stiffly claim that the hype is over. Yet there are still millions who play the game every day. As far as I know, the Apple Fortnite crisis also relates more to the mobile phone app.
As a girl, I also like to play Fortnite on the PS or Xbox (I know some other girls too, but generally) and have never had problems, e.g. That there weren't enough people on the server.
Then it seems to have been a normal development. Similar to Pokemon or other things that have been hyped. Well… Now I just have to solve the problem with my hard drive partition so that I can download it. The problem came from me in another post.
Unfortunately, some games die at some point. But that sounds like I don't have to worry about the game going on. X-Box, Playstation, etc. I don't have it. Nowadays I only gamble all kinds of things on my notebook. But I think it's great that you play it as a girl too.
Thank you and I hope that the Apple-Fortnite dispute will be resolved so that the app is fully available again on all devices, because Fortnite is really a great game.
Good that you tell me that. I'm not very familiar with battle royale games. If the decreasing hype has to do with the increasing skill of the regular players, and casual is no longer possible, then as a beginner I will definitely be spanked. But everyone starts small.
Exactly! And if you want to get better, good opponents are perfect training!
Will be a little different than playing Call of Duty or something like that. But even that I only gambled occasionally with friends. But well, I also saw that practice makes perfect.
I mean if you play it with friends it is surely more fun than alone! There are also enough fun modes that you can play together.
I see it that way too. Corporations that already earn enough shouldn't fight unnecessarily about money, so that the players suffer from it.
Fortnite is slowly becoming fun again or getting the hype back, there are also many leaks that the old map is coming back
