Everyone in my class is fortnite, so I wanted to try it out, but for example when I run or the whole game hangs extremely, I already have a cable connection, I play on a PC, how can I fix it?
Can it be that your pc is not good enough?
Unfortunately, this is very general. It may be due to the server (very unlikely), the client, or the connection between the two. Since you can't change anything on the server:
What kind of hardware do you have (CPU, GPU & RAM)? (→ Device Manager: Press the Windows key, enter 'Device Manager' enter, RAM, at least you can find the size, among other things. In Task Manager → right-click on the taskbar, select Task Manager, Advanced, Performance; More information, e.g. On RAM frequency, occupancy and latencies you can find out with programs such as HWinfo, CPU-Z, GPU-Z, Aida and similar).
What resolution and settings do you play in?
What kind of internet connection do you have? And have you ever done a speed test? The result, including ping, could help.

Write me:
Your motherboard model
How much ram you have
Your CPU
Your graphics card
and maybe still
housing, power supply and hard disk
It may be that your CPU or GPU is fully utilized, you can see that in the Task Manager, Of course you should also know what is built into your PC… The FPS should be displayed in the top left when playing if it is under 40 no wonder. It's best to stop playing the game anyway.
Your PC may not have enough power.
To find out, go to the Windows bar at the bottom and then click on the left, then open the Task Manager and then open fortnite. Then you can see how much your PC is busy.
