Got RDW yesterday and do not understand some things

1st There's just how I want to expand my storm shield but i don't know like, have already built a lot around it with Fallsn but ka.Es also stop storm, I can do nothing

2. There I'm supposed to find 5 research equipment but where are they and what the xD look like

3. Can someone give me some good weapons for starters?
