Microphone doesn't work on Fortnite?

My microphone doesn't work on Fortnite anymore. I can hear everyone else, but they don't hear me. I felt I turned all the settings around and tried everything that was suggested to me, so turned push to talk off and off again and even reinstalled Fortnite. I don't have parental controls in there either. It still doesn't work. It can't be due to the PC, as the microphone works perfectly everywhere else, e.g. On discord or other games like CoD.

Does anyone know why that is?

Perhaps it is set in the settings that fortnite is not allowed to access the micro

I think this is a bug that was with me several times after an update or reinstall it worked again for me but I play on mobile

You probably have a bug that you won't have with the next update, otherwise just keep using Discord
