Fortnite montage with repetitions?

I would like to do a Fortnite montage with the reps, so I want to record the replaying gameplay. Do I still have to record the gameplay with a program like Obs or does that work via Fortnite? Because I want to edit it damn with Spny Vegas, so the camera movements, etc. From the repetition.
