What is the difference between Fortnite skins and LoL skins?

Are there any big differences in the skins? Since I do not play Fortnite, I'm only familiar with LoL skins. They have (not all) additional own animations. Is there something like that with Fortnite too?

At Fortnite you only pay for the skins.

But there's also the possibility to buy Emotes in the shop.

Just as I believe in fortnite the skins are external characters and at lol appearance changes from Champ. But i don't know games themselves no fortnite.

So in Fortnite there's no difference in the gameplay just look different (as in LoL) and hang gliders there are still different sounds but otherwise it is like Lol.
