PS4 Fortnite code on PC redeem?

Hi, I bought a working Playstation code for a skin in Fortnite, I tried to redeem it on the PC (since I do not have a Playstation) but that did not work out. I would not like to buy a Playstation for a skin, so, does anyone know how it works without Playstation?

I also created a PlayStation account on the PC, entered the code and then stood there code was redeemed, only I got nothing.
