Why do so many people find Fortnite skins hot?

I wonder why, some people are into FN skins. I last saw a 10 year old who said he loved Ruby. Why is that so.

I haven't played it long but I think e.g. Skins just cool cute etc. Or compare me to them. I find e.g. Because killer chick skin is really cool, cute and yes.
