Quit Fortnite and start CSGO?

I've been playing Fortnite for a while and wanted to get into the competitive scene in general, but the game was getting worse and worse in my opinion. Then I thought I'd try the game CSGO and so far I like it very much. So now I have the question for you, whether I should stop Fortnite and play CSGO and get into the competitive scene there.

You can do it if you like. The problem with this is that the learning curve is pretty steep. But when you have someone to coat you through, the game is pretty fun. Of course you can also teach yourself, but then you may lose interest after a short time.

But it will take some time to be reasonably good.
