Fortnite Noob in Public?

When I play public I'm a noob who only loses the fights against opponents and never wins, but when I play creatively so boxfights and so I shave most of the time what could be the reason that I'm bad in public? Because I just die, I play creatively against other players because then I don't feel like public. That is really my problem in public, I can play better passively, but when I try to push aggressively, every round only goes in the pants.

Public is completely different from creative mode.

In creative you only have to know the mechanics, in public you need a little brain

And how do I get this brain? I really want to dominate completely solo and destroy the opponents and not die.
