When I click on Forrnite, the Epic Games Launcher pops up, because I need to do an update. When I press Refresh I get the message that there's not enough disk space on the Windows C platform. I have already deleted the Epic Games Launcher and also downloaded it again and saved it on Data D, but then I have to install the file on Windows C and then I have the same problem again. Can anybody help me further?
You have too little space on your hard drive / partition. In your case too little on c: (one partition):
So you have to make room
You can create space by deleting, offloading (to external hard drive) files, folders
You can also make room by uninstalling programs and games that you no longer use #Karteileichen
For example, I have transferred my movies to an external hard drive.
you can do things like movies, music and other, private files like pictures and co. Also on D:? Save, then you would have on C: more space. "
Can still try so much. It works only by uninstalling it and then reinstalling it in the other place.
Are only 20 GB
I had to do it yesterday too
But in that case, do not use anything…
Because? I had the same "mistake". Have some movies outsourced to the external disk and I was able to carry out the update.
Also at Fortnite?
Jupp. I was on hold all the time, then the message came. Then I have as I said few films outsourced and n bisl cleaned up and then I could install the update.
Well then I'm just stupid. Have 100 things deleted on the drive and the required memory was always the same
I still have 748 GB free on Data D and I would like to install it dirt but it can only be installed on Windows C and I do not outsource it because I do not load a 30Gb update on a hard disk where only 118Gb can fit. I just want to know how I make sure that I can load the update on the other hard drive!
I already have it, but if I save it at "on Data D I have to load it if I want to open it anyway, even though it's loaded on Data D, it still has to install on Windows C."
I tried it again. This time I was able to change it to be installed on Data D.
