Fortnite update?

I own Fortnite for both the PS4 and the PC, apparently a new update appeared today, this update is only 1 GB on the PC and a whopping 40 GB on the PS4 I wonder how this can be possible, I do hope one of you can answer my question.

Maybe because of the split screen bug.

This is regulated on the PC but not on the console and therefore the file becomes larger

Because updates are usually smaller on PCs. On the other hand, games themselves are usually larger on the PC.

It is possible that an update will be rolled out as a whole on the PS and not just the files that have been changed and / or the data will not be compressed
