Is it normal that even with headshots with the purple or golden pump you get 10 40 hits instead of 120 160 200 or something?

So is this just a matter of luck?

Sometimes this is only shown because the opponent was low. And ne the better you hit the higher the damage

Yes, most of all with the purple ones, which have now been nerfed.
