Just download it again vlt that helps. Or look in the settings under the HUD or color mode for vlt you have set something there accidentally

I would say if you play on the pc that this is more of an OS or Windows error. If it only occurs in fortnite on the PC go to the epicgames launcher in the library and click on the 3 dots next to the fortnite icon. Dan click on fix or scan or what is there again… Then everything should be normal again if not delete and download again. PS4 or xbox wait for update if not reinstall
