Get more gaming time?

Hi, I'm 12 years old and I like to play Fortnite. But my parents only let me run for 2 hours. I know that's actually a lot, but I want to become a professional one day and therefore need more time. Do you have any ideas how I can convince you? My gaming setup at the moment ->

Get more gaming time
No

Ga4 not, 2 hours is enough.

Am

You will most likely not succeed, because your parents have good reasons to limit the gaming time for you to 2 hours.

Ca

Up to the age of 14, 1 hour is normal for normal parents.

Otherwise you might be able to convince with a certificate without 4-6 and with a lot of sport.

Ma

At 12, 2 hours is enough.

When you are 18, earn your own money and have your own apartment, then you can gamble as much as you want.

As long as you are a minor, your parents are in charge.

Gr

Do you have what it takes to be a pro? When it comes to games, that's usually anything but a walk in the park.

Sa

Not really, you mean more parents who look after their children.

In my opinion, children / adolescents should also be allowed to use the PC a little longer because of Covid-19.

Ca

On the contrary. Because of Covid, you've been on your PC long enough.

En

Yes I think so. I do everything for it😃

Sa

, but because of Covid, they can't do that much either.

Yes, going out may be possible, but in the long run that is not necessarily the solution.

Ma

How much PR do you have?

Gr

How do you want to go to school if you gamble 6 hours a day? I would really - as another writes here - go up to three hours first. And then first see if you get any more skill at all. Also remember that in addition to school and gaming, exercise is also important. If you balance everything, you have a very reasonable and at the same time relaxed life.

Be

I've always been allowed to gamble as long as I wanted. Just like all of my friends. On a weekend when everyone is up for some game, sometimes +10 hours or longer. (Of course sometimes with a break haha)

Ca

And what about the grades and fitness?
