Is Fortnite account gone?

Following problem:

I have had an Epic Games account for about a year… I also installed Fortnite on another device and created a second account (same email address (I think))

Now I have logged out on this device and wanted to log in again to play with the older account on this device. But I was immediately registered with the new one and was not asked which account I want to play with…

now I can't get to the old one.

what do I have to do?

Delete the game and download it again and then it should work
