I have downloaded a cracked version of a video editing program, which I regret now. Since now the search field in the task bar is broken, every 2 minutes my internet browser opens with 18+ pages or dubious pages like "your PC is infected with a Trojan, click here…". I can't start the Windows Defender and it also lacks a dll file in \ local. 2 games were also installed automatically, which I removed immediately. It's not bad for me to reset my PC, I can drag my documents, pictures ect on a USB flash drive and reinstall my games like Fortnite and Geometry Dash ect. Should I play it safe and reset my PC or choose another method? Can I log in as before (with my Microsoft account) if I reset my PC?

I can't judge in how far you can still carry out program installations.
Malwarebytes can find all sorts of malicious files on the PC. Resetting the PC would be the last resort for me because it always involves data loss. If you're lucky, Mwb can get your PC up and running again.
