I've been playing Fortnite on PS4 for a couple of months now and I'm scared when my PlayStation breaks down. Everything was bought for free. Are there any tips?
Do not know about Fortnite, but are not you logged in there with an account? And as long as the account exists, everything should stay there? That's all about this PSNetwork or what that means.
With your Fortnite account, you can sign up for any platform. This means that your inventory is linked to your account and stored in the cloud.
If you have a Playstation Networking acc you can't lose anything unless you have to re-download the purchased games (Playstation store) and do not install updates anymore
Easier explained here
Play Fortnite
Oh playstation kapput
Oh repair expensive
Bought new playstation
Register Playstation Network with the OWN acc
Enter Playstation store
DOWNLOAD all purchased games (already purchased items do NOT need to be purchased again ie if you bought gta for example then you do NOT have to buy it again even if it is another ps4 console)
Your stuff is stored on your account, not on the console
You can even download fortnite to your phone, PC or even xbox, link your fortnite / epic games account there and also have everything you currently have from fortnite on the playstation. This is account bound and thus gives no problems. Also other games bought in the playstation store are connected to your playstation account, you would have to get yourself a new console, you could simply download your new games on the new one. The only thing that could happen is that a few scores disappear (mainly only for a few singleplayers) and you might have to start at 0 again in the story. Personally, I happened to far cry. But in itself you do not have to be worried.
