Will the more online players consume more data?

And I'm currently changing providers and have to wait around 10 days until they can activate it, but luckily I got a 20 GB stick for free from 1&1 for the waiting time. I want to use this 20 GB to play Fortnite, among other things, YouTube and Co. I skip the time because it simply pulls too much. So now the question:

Does fortnite use more data volume if I play with many players for example in public or would it be the same if I go in creatively and only play with a limited number of players?

In principle, it's almost the same, but can calm you down… If you only play Fortnite and don't download anything (streaming, patches and downloads), you can easily get by with 20GB.

Use an average of 19 GB Wi-Fi per month so that should be enough.
