Better graphics = more MB consumption?

Consumes e.g. Fortnite on the PS4 / X Box more Mbits (mobile data) than on the mobile phone or on the switch because of the graphics?

In other words:

Will the consumption of mobile data (when playing via mobile data) be increased by better graphics in a game or simply by more performance in general? (MB consumption)

Today I'll try to play via mobile data instead of Wi-Fi because the Wi-Fi where I go is just bad

If you stream, yes. If you play locally, no.

In games like Fortnite, opponents are usually only sent to you by the server using three-dimensional coordinates and vectors. The animations and the graphic effects are usually rendered on your PC / console. So I suspect the traffic is the same regardless of the graphics setting here.

Hmm actually no. Because the world's graphics, for example, have already been saved locally.

But since other players also trigger effects or textures, it can quickly use up more MB. That's why I would try it out and then draw a comparison for you

Nice thank you

Unless you download anything, you don't need more data. However, if you download HQ content separately into a game, it may use more data. Fortnite is already downloading the textures and better graphics to my knowledge anyway.
