What are you interested in on YouTube?

Hi, I want to create a Youtube channel. I would like to play Let's play but not as normal with 0815 as Fortnite and stuff. So my question:
What would you wish for a ytber to record but never see on youtube?

You can paint yourself green, there will have been.

Of all the video categories on YouTube, Let's Plays are by far the most unsuccessful. There are LOCKER 100m + Let's Play Accounts, which may have an average of 50 views.

To be interesting on Youtube these days, unfortunately only two things help:

Be anti-social
Clickbaits

That could be difficult, if not impossible. There's nothing on Youtube that does not exist. I wouldn't think of a game that doesn't already exist there.

That's probably true… But my hope dies last.

Well I don't mean that the game shouldn't exist. It just shouldn't exist that often

Sensible Battle for Wesnoth Let's Plays in German - never seen before. Either quality underground or game technology.

But well, I think it is normal that rather unpopular / unknown games have both less supply and demand on YT. Since I do not know what your goal is, I can unfortunately find it difficult to derive exactly what feedback you would like.

I just want to build a mini community for myself. Of course many subscriptions bla bla but I would be happy if I had a small but loyal community ^^

Well, just take the latest games exactly when they hit the market. Then there are not so many Let's Plays. Otherwise I would try to make your Let's Plays special.

Play what you like!
But if you are looking for games there are e.g. GTA; FIFA; Forza; Assassin's Creed 2; Red dead redemption; Resident Evil 3; Anno 1800 or Fallout.

At the beginning, however, you should make sure that you only play what you enjoy. YT is of course about how people like it, but if you're just starting out on a channel it's not that important. If you play games that you do not like at all, you will quickly lose the desire to play and record.

It is true that antisocial content can be more successful. But if you do something special with added value, you can become even more successful in the long run.

You can also sell a complete niche topic interestingly and get several 1000 clicks per video. It's just not that easy.

Try to think differently. People who watch anti-social content today could find your videos much better in the long run.

With niche games it is difficult to meet your taste.

I like strategy games like Age of Empires, Stronghold or Siedler. There are of course channels, but not so many that do it very professionally.

With simple Lets Plays you will not get 99% far, try more with tip / explanatory videos, special topics (e.g. 1000 Elite German Knights vs 200 Elite War Elephants or something xD).

With story-only plays you can only be successful if you play a game as soon as possible after the release, or if you find a game that is still unknown, which will soon become better known. But it's similar to trading stocks, you never know what's really going to happen. Of course you have to be reasonably entertaining to do this.

Or you can just let plays play in the background and talk about current topics that are being searched for (topic of conversation must of course be included in the title).
