So which ones, under Windows 98, need 3 minutes to load a folder? (Yes I exaggerated)
I have now been to 2 schools, a total and a Waldorf school.
At the comprehensive school there were computers with Windows 10, at that time those who stayed behind could play Fortnite in 120Fps if they weren't caught.
At the Waldorf School, IMacs are no more than 2 years old. (Even if neither of us likes Apple)
Both schools have very powerful computers.
Then why are other schools so bad?
Probably depends on the school and the state, we had computers with i5 8500 and 16 GB RAM at the old school (secondary school), much too oversized if you just type in Excel tables all day…
At my new school (vocational high school) we have i3 3rd or 4th generation and 8 GB RAM and everything on its HDD combined with its Windows 10 from 2016
So I'm in the 8th and have been to two schools so far. I'm now at a high school (in Berlin). Just scrap pcs everywhere. Our "Smartboards" sometimes take 2 minutes to fully boot. The PCs are all old, monitors old, keyboard and mouse old. I think it's terrible that there are no developments. Well and good that there are smartboards, but a good pc and the appropriate accessories must be available.
So at my school the computers were Intel core i3 540 in combination with a gtx560. That was anything but good even for the time.
