I would like to know how many cores or threads Fortnite uses in Battle Royale mode.
It uses everyone you have
Why are Intel CPUs better than Ryzen processors in many benchmarks, even though they have poorer multicore performance? (e.g. Ryzen 5 3600 vs i5 9600k or Ryzen 7 3700x vs i7 9700k)
Because gaming is particularly dependent on single core performance and not on how many cores or threads your cpu has
It doesn't use everyone?!
Of course what do you think that would otherwise be wasted
Why does battlefield 5 only use 8 cores?
I think Fortnite uses 6 or 4 cores but in the settings there's a function with which you can set that ALL threads are used for distant objects, but this only makes sense with 12 threads upwards
It's called optimization! Some games don't have that on so many cores
Maybe it only uses 8 cores because the PC it was recorded on has 8 cores and not all of them are optimized for many cores. The games use all of the cores but you still get little or no FPS even though you have a lot more cores or Threads
Ok well then we got along.
