Fortnite mistake or ban?

I would be banned in Fortnite about 9 months ago. Every time I jump out of the battlebus this error message comes up: "THERE WAS A MISTAKE - You have been removed from the match due to Internet lag, IP or system, VPN usage or cheating. We advise against using VPN or proxy Server to use when playing Fortnite ". Does anyone know what that is and how I can fix it.
