Fortnite I find the game mechanics ago terrific.
So building is a function that I would want in other games as well, because there you can really expand the fight around a level.
And I always celebrated the aspect of the linkage.
No matter what your buddies are playing / console, smartphone, pc, switch, whatever, ALL could play together.

The childish implementation and overpopularization, however, have always been a big hit with me. (including the whole streamer: Ninja, Tfue, etc…)
Apex speaks to me as an old Titanfall2 fan anyway.
Battle Royale again, I know, but I've learned to love the beauty ^^

Because I love the challenge.
Mostly you face some absolute Tryhards, Swaties or Lucker with many better weapons, and you should be able to compensate for that with Skill.
I like that when a game offers challenge ^^
And what excites me most of all: Titanfall2 seems to gain a boost.
If you do not know Titanfall2, I'll give you my clearest recommendation.
Comes (like Apex) from the developer house "Respawn" and convinces with borderline game mechanics and graphics. (costs only 5-10 euro and is NOT a BR game.)
Anyway, the game had an unfortunate release, right between Battlefield1 and CoD, and that's why it has not gone down much, but now, thanks to the ever-increasing popularity of Apex, a lot of people are getting wind of it, and getting it.
Before the release of Apex were on Pc mostly good for the 700 people online, now it's good and like times 5000, and on console is synonymous partly from 5000 to 10000, which I really can only advocate. ^^
For me also a motivation to continue to produce Titanfall2 videos on YT, since the bandwidth of the potential audience is currently as high as never.

Fortnite is just not a good game. I do not like Apex.
