Fortnite Nintendo Switch headset?

Hi! Can you just use such things as a headset for Fortnite on the switch? Are they compatible? Anyone experience? Unfortunately, my Apple headset did not work. Thanks in advance ☺️

Yes should work and apple actually too. But there's also an extra headset for the switch.
