Practice creates masters.
By simply playing, you pick up the gameplay and look at it after the round, why you died, what else could you do, etc.

I already had a blatant aim in Fortnite because I was not new to shooters, I was initially focused on building, I was just trying to build all the time to fool the opponent. Practicing under pressure is the best way to practice building. On the game island where nobody shoots you everyone can build
I would not call myself a pro but a passionate gamer who spends about 16h in front of the PC. Work as a software developer and in my free time I play.
Already as a child, I was too long in front of the PC but if you gamble intensively for 3-6 hours a day, you usually get really good after 8 months. (Was my observation).
At that time I was in Germany's best SW Battlefront 2 Clan (2005) and we had training 3 times a week and a ClanWar or tournament every weekend.
In the first international tournament we had, we lost against the British and lost in the first round.
At some point it was enough for my parents and they shredded my internet adapter and I could not play anymore.
Today I'm getting close to 30, I do not have much time to gamble because of wife and child but I do what I can.
I'm looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077 and The Elder Scrolls 6 like a kid on Christmas.
Since I upgrade directly and hau again 1000 euro in my PC.
Unfortunately, my wife does not share the enthusiasm for gambling, but I'm sure I'll have fun with my kids: 3 (when they're older) and ready for real games.
So from my own experience: intensive gambling = after 8 months you are pretty good, but you can always improve and learn from better.
And I always like to remember that time when I and my Clanmates had about 100-120 kills and 0-2 Death and the next normalo was at 15 kills.
Only gambling brings nothing, if you "only play" and you think yolo you will never be good, not even if you play it 3 years 8 hours a day
As I said above, if you do not see your own mistakes, that will not work because you make the mistake every time you play
You just need the mentality that you can always improve and that you can still learn something even after years of experience.
That's the only way to get into the top 5%.
I often think some players do not have enough mental capacity to spot mistakes and improve, but they insult others directly as cheaters or hackers.
