Can you become a pro in Fortnite with a 4ms response time monitor?

I would be interested because I was in the Media Markt and asked which monitor he would recommend for Fortnite. Then he just suggested the 4 ms monitor to me and said that it was generally better for Fortnite than the others, because it generally responds faster than the others, can that be it or did it fool me? And can you still become a very good player? (Play on Ps 4 and want to take part in the big tournaments)

So first 4 ms = 4 milliseconds response time, actually pretty slow.

The best thing is a 1ms monitor because they react the fastest
