How much FPS to play with Fortnite?

What do you say…

I have a 60hz monitor, should I rather play in Fortnite with epic settings at 70 FPS or despite the 60hz monitor with 144 FPS on lowen settings games which makes more sense for you

Of course 70fps. If you play 60hz with 144fps, 84fps are in the bucket.

It depends on what you find nicer, I have had the experience that even though I have 60hz, 120fps look a lot smoother than 60. Try both and pay attention to what looks best and how it feels.

You have to try it out a bit. If the frame rate exceeds the refresh rate of the monitor, the monitor may get too many images. Simply put: If 90 pictures arrive at 60Hz, then every 3rd picture is too many and is discarded.

A "program" decides which of the 3 images will be discarded. This usually works very well, but can also lead to wrong pictures being taken, which leads to so-called tearing and / or ghosting. This manifests itself in the fact that you either have "micro stuttering" because frames no longer fit together, or you get horizontal lines on the screen for microseconds.

With my 60Hz monitor it was in the range between ~ 90 and 110fps. But that doesn't have to happen - just try it out for yourself. However, you don't really benefit from more frames.

30 FPS is enough, but 60 FPS is of course even better. I wouldn't go higher as most screens don't go higher anyway.

74 *

My mistake.

I think you should make the graphics high because you see the opponents better and faster.

I think 70 fps are definitely sufficient.

or you can make the graphics high with approx. 100 to 120 fps

No problem
