Moin friends, small question and although I have been dealing with an fps problem for a long time. Not that my games don't run smoothly (sometimes not) but the price I paid for the PC is too overpriced for the performance. I have an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X eight-core processor and an Nvidea Geforce RTX 2060. In spite of this, it is quite solid Hardware some games like Battlefield 5 (on not quite as high settings) run at 80-100 fps and I've seen 600 euro PCs that can play the game on at least the same settings at 115-140 fps. Or GTA 5 only had 60 fps on high settings and these often went down to 30 without outside interference. That is of course grumbling at a high level but nevertheless I expect for a 1500 euro Pcs (it was deducted badly, I think) that these games as well as Fortnite (only for test. With just 130 fps (with a lot of drops to under 30 partially) run and that just can't be. Another example CSGO, a game that you can also play on potatoes with 100 fps, mine creates with "only" 150 fps. Please help me somehow to get the best out of the PC and also to perform in the price range Thanks in advance. Ps These FPS drops are particularly bad and occur in almost every game.
Do you have a good screen?
You may have activated VSync
If your monitor does not output more than 60 hearts, it is not worth using more than 60 FPS, as the screen can't reproduce it, everything is output in the graphics card but can't be displayed in the monitor.
Second tip Test the graphics card driver some versions are better than others.
Have a 144 hz monitor and the fps are the ingamefps which I see on the display
Have a 144 hz monitor. But what do you mean by different drivers, is there more than one for Nvidea graphics cards?
Neither of the two would explain the fps drops, anyway thanks!
The different versions of the driver; you may also find a good search result with; Search for the best driver version and the label… Often the driver version from the year of the hardware is one of the most suitable, but do system restore points beforehand and only do that if you are up for sone work, because you have to uninstall each version again, so that the pc not yet get extra driver errors, this works best with ddu in safe mode.
Of course, and you didn't answer my question about VSync either, so no one can help you. Have a good time
I just checked again your graphics card is good how much ram do you have inside?
I meant in my answer that neither the wrong screen nor Vsync would explain the fps drops from 130 to e.g. Below 30
Boa there you ask the wrong but 6Gb memory is in every game I think that is RAM right?
Wait a minute, I just noticed you have an amd processor and ne nvidia graphics card, that can be a compatibility problem, Can't have to, amd and nvidia don't get along so well, your cpu and the graphics card are great. But it can both bite each other.
Go to the control panel on system there it says how much ram you have.
I wouldn't call a 2060 solid, nor is the CPU an Ultra CPU. The FPS values are quite normal for the hardware.
For 1,500 euro you got a btw. Withdrawn.
The PC is not even worth 800 euro with the hardware ^^
Ah okay, thank you in advance but can you do something about it other than retrofitting? Probably not or
First find out with the professionals whether this really leads to compatibility problems… If you have an amd cpu then always try to use amd in the rest of the way, for example via graphics… That is better because the systems can then communicate better with each other. But it also depends on the mainboard… That must be okay too.
Yes have 6 GB
Oh 6 gb ram is a little little that can also lead to your problems… See if you still have enough money to build in 6 ram again then you have 12 then it should work… Or two 8 bars… Then it costs extra again your performance improves suddenly. Oh yeah, you can't take every ram.
Okay i will pay attention in the future, wanted to buy a new one in the summer anyway. If my PC is actually a low or mid-end PC, I would be interested
It's wrong, with a 1660 super and a R5 3600 I have significantly more fps than the questioner
Spelled that wrong, it was on offer for 1000 euro but it's still probably not worth it
Strange, something is wrong with my PC I think
Do you have all drivers installed and up to date?
Yes I have
It also depends on the exact settings.
Yes there are but I can't tell where by heart
You can google the details of your parts by entering the name. (for items pay attention to which year they are from)
Can it be that these are the vram
Ne they are not shown under system and I let him see.
But they really ripped you off at the price.
A320 board, well. Well, your CPU is not the newest anymore and your graphics card is not high end either, but nevertheless such drops should not necessarily be. 16 GB RAM is definitely enough, it would be interesting to know how fast your RAM is, i.e. How many MHz it is clocked with. The Ryzen CPUs benefit from fast RAM and 3200MHz should be, if the mainboard supports it at all. A faster RAM also brings a few FPS and stability to the system.
You can see how fast your RAM clocks either in the BIOS or, for example, with CPU-Z, which is a small program that can tell you a few data about your system.
